Overview
Grief Calendar ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website griefcalendar.com. This page explains what data is collected, how it is used, and what rights you have. All date calculations on this site run entirely in your browser. No dates you enter are transmitted to our servers or stored anywhere.
Data We Collect
We do not collect personal information directly. When you use the calculator, the dates you enter are processed locally in your browser and are never sent to us. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamp) may be retained briefly by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) for security and performance purposes. These logs are not linked to individual identities and are not sold or shared.
Google AdSense
This site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites on the internet. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendor use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info.
Cookies
We do not set any first-party cookies. Google AdSense may set third-party cookies to serve personalized advertisements. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time, though this may affect the display of advertisements.
Third-Party Services
This site uses Google Fonts (loaded from Google's servers) for typography. Google may collect limited data in connection with font delivery. No other external services are used by the calculator itself.
CCPA — California Residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to know what personal data is collected, request deletion of personal data, and opt out of the sale of personal data. We do not sell personal data. If you are a California resident and have questions about your rights, contact us at privacy@vanilabs.co.
GDPR — European Residents
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, and delete personal data held about you. Because we do not collect personal data directly, there is no personal data to access or delete from our systems. For questions about data processed by Google AdSense on our behalf, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Children's Privacy
This site is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
